Rules for Indoor Soccer

For playing indoor soccer there are many rules, but all the rules are not essential for playing soccer. However, its good habit to learn the most important rules. These rules will definitely help you in understanding the indoor game easily.

The team

In indoor soccer each team have 6 players and these 6 included one goalkeeper. All the players are playing in the match field.

Offside

While playing indoor soccer game, the rule of offside are not in use. In other words, player can stand in penalty kick field of the opponent and they have to wait the ball. This is indoor soccer strategy this is particularly vital for contra attacks.

The Field

The field of the indoor soccer game is in the form of rectangular shape or in oblong shape, in which the field surface made up of artificial turf. The game of indoor soccer also played on the court of basketball match. Goals usually recessed to the walls. The goal box is usually smaller in comparison to normally soccer.

Equipment

While playing every player have to wear your team's uniform and needed indoor shoes & shin guards. Any types of accessories or jewelry are not permissible. The goalkeepers of each team have to wear uniform of different colors, to easy to differentiate from the other players of the team.

Free kick

The player hits the ball toward the roof, then it is beneficial for the opponent team as they get free kick. The opponent team gets free kick, commencing at the place where, other team hits the ball toward the roof.

Corner kicks

The team gets the chances to have corner kick, when the ball hits toward the netting of the opponents goal. It seems to be a good soccer strategy to capture the advantage of every corner kicks. In this kick, ball should hit with full power into opponent's goal, and along with luck, ball will move toward the right direction and the goal will achieve.

Don't slide tackle

In indoor soccer, slide tackling is not in common use. Because if you are going to do sliding tackles, it will be hurt, you and sometime it will injure to your skin. Sliding is hazardous for the reason that the walls little bit harder than usually soccer. Try to avoid using sliding tackles in your play, as it causes grievous hurt to you and your opponent.

The ball

In saying, the match-playing surface is hard the ball will commonly covered with sued. These sort of ball is not going to bounce too much and easy to control.

The crease

In a general talk, indoor soccer player is not able to kick the ball within the goalkeeper box which known as “ crease ”. Only if you are having ball to your feet, then you can kick the ball for inside the crease.
